Our policies and payment options are designed to enable us to provide exceptional veterinary care in a timely, safe, and reasonable manner.
We require payment at time of service. Surgical procedures require a deposit at the time drop-off with the balance of the payment due when you pick up your pet.

We’re pleased to offer our clients No Interest Payment Plans through Care Credit. This plan allow us to provide the best treatment for your pet immediately, while allowing you to pay over time with payments that fit into your budget.
Many owners purchase pet insurance to help them afford health care for their pet family members. We are pleased to provide you with copies of your pet medical records for submission to your insurance company. The following is a list of pet insurance companies you might like to explore:

All patients must be on a leash or in a carrier when they are brought into the hospital. This is to protect your pet and our other patients. We ask that you make cell phone calls outside of the building. Free WiFi service is provided while you are in our facility.
In order to provide optimal care for your pet, we operate primarily by scheduled appointments. We make every effort to run on schedule with minimal delays. When delays are encountered, we aim to keep you informed as to when your pet will be seen. First time clients are asked to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time in order to fill out any necessary forms and to have previous records scanned into your file. Please consider having any previous records emailed to us from previous veterinarians or referral hospitals well in advance of your visit.
For your convenience, we do offer drop-off appointments for established clients. After speaking with a technician or the veterinarian, you will be asked to drop off your pet at a time convenient for you. Your pet will be examined, and the doctor will contact you with recommendations for diagnostics and/or treatment. Discharge papers will be provided when you pick up your pet, for a written record of services performed during the day.
Clients who arrive more than 10 minutes late for their appointment may be asked to reschedule. In some cases, you can be seen in between other appointments, but there may be a significant wait time which we will try to estimate for you.
In order to avoid a $36 no-show fee, please cancel or reschedule your appointment more than 24 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance may incur the no-show fee at our discretion.
Urgent Care Daytime Emergencies
We offer “Urgent Care” appointments during all office hours. If your pet needs to be seen immediately, we will triage your pet and fit them into our schedule based on the triage assessment. Depending on the triage assessment there could be a wait to be seen. Pets that are in immediate need of care will be seen first.
After Hours Advice
We offer after hours emergency advice exclusively to our clients. This service is available anytime Tabernacle Animal Hospital is not open. This phone line is available 365 days per year and is answered by one of our staff members.
Please notify us 3 business days before you require a medication refill. Most medications need doctor review and approval and, in some instances, the medication must be delivered from our pharmaceutical manufacturers. Prior notice of your pet requiring a refill is essential to ensure your pet does not have a lapse in medication. There is $15 expedited processing fee for any refill requests with less than 3 business days notice.
