    Sue Jarman

    Dr. Sue Jarman is a 2011 Graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School. She is a native of Bucks County Pennsylvania where she grew up on a farm surrounded by cats, dogs, horses and corn fields. Dr. Jarman completed her undergraduate studies at Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York after which she worked in biomedical research at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia before attending veterinary school. Dr. Jarman is now a long tern resident of New Jersey where she shares her home with 7 cats and 2 dogs. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, spending time with her family, and trying her best to figure out the New Jersey jug-handle system.

    Jacob D. Leff

    Dr. Jacob D. Leff is a South Jersey native.  While attending high school, he worked at Tabernacle Animal Hospital as a technician.  He continued to work part time while attending Rutgers University, where he attained a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Veterinary medicine.  Dr. Leff then ventured overseas to the island of St. Kitts to study veterinary medicine at Ross University.  During his time at Ross University, Dr. Leff completed a year of clinical training at Auburn University in Alabama.  Soon after, he received his DVM from Ross University in 2013.  He now resides in Lumberton with his wife, twin daughters, two dogs and a cat. Dr. Leff has a primary interest in small animal medicine, ultrasound imagining, pain management and dermatology. Jacob is dedicated to keeping small companion animals happy and health, stating that he brings his expertize with a dash of Jersey charm to each patient he sees!

    Karen Froberg-Fejko

    Dr. Karen Froberg-Fejko is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine where she was 3rd in her class when she graduated in 1996. She had moved to New Jersey from Rhode Island in 1985 to take a position at Bristol Myers Squibb Pharmaceutical where she worked as a facility manager in the Veterinary Resources Department for 7 years. Dr. Froberg worked full time as a small animal clinician in South Jersey for 6 years and now works part time at Tabernacle Animal Hospital. She balances a full-time career as President of a research support company in Frenchtown, New Jersey, and also thoroughly enjoys working with pet owners in keeping their four-legged family members happy & healthy. Dr. Froberg lives in Shamong with her husband, Michael & son, Colton along with 2 dogs, 2 cats, 6 horses, and numerous chickens. Her hobbies include spending time with her treasured family and friends, and breeding/showing Golden Retrievers.

    Meghan Hardiman

    Dr. Meghan Hardiman is a Ross University graduate of 2022. She is originally from Philadelphia but moved to Mt. Laurel as a kid. Before attending veterinary school, she began working as a veterinary technician in 2017 to follow her lifelong love for animals and animal care. Dr. Hardiman attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick for her undergraduate degree. She then moved to St. Kitts where she attended Ross University for veterinary school and later completed her clinical year at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She is very excited to be back in the Mt. Laurel area, spending time with her family and mini schnauzer, Cookie (a.k.a. Cookatron) and meeting all the cute cats and dogs in the area! She finds the chance to improve lives every day incredibly rewarding and is happy to be a part of the Tabernacle Animal Hospital team. When her and her family get the chance they enjoy exploring new breweries and restaurants in the area!

    Amy Sclarsky

    Dr. Amy Sclarsky also attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with her V.M.D. in 1987. Yes, Amy and Patty were classmates! Prior to that, Dr. Sclarsky received her B.S. in Animal Science from Penn State University, then went on to get a M.S. in Animal Science from the University of Delaware. Dr. Sclarsky has practiced in the south Jersey area since 1987 and founded Pet PT, a physical therapy clinic for dogs in need of orthopedic, neuromuscular or surgical rehabilitation. Dr. Sclarsky resides in Cherry Hill with her husband, 3 children, 1 very active Golden Retriever and 2 cats. The entire family are avid swimmers, participating in fund-raising ocean races at the Jersey shore every summer. Dr. Sclarsky also sings in the Jersey Sound Chorus of Sweet Adelines. She is an Executive Board Member of the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association, a Board Member of the New Jersey Veterinary Foundation and a member of the South Jersey Veterinary Medical Association.

    Patricia Fisher

    Dr. Patricia Fisher attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983 and graduated in 1987 with her V.M.D. Originally from the Pittsburgh, PA area, Dr. Fisher completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Ohio University in 1982, graduating summa cum laude. Since graduation, she has practiced small animal clinical medicine in the South Jersey area. Her areas of special interest lie in cancer chemotherapy, soft tissue surgery and nutrition. Her greatest strength is demonstrated in her tenacity with difficult diagnoses and her level of attention to detail. Dr. Fisher resides in Haddon Heights with her husband, 2 daughters, and 6 cats. She is an active member of The Choral Arts Society of Philadelphia and an avid vocalist in her church choir.

    Head Veterinary Technician

    An essential part of our team here at Tabernacle Animal Hospital, Christina has been a part of the veterinary field for 10 years. You will typically find Christina working with our surgical and dental procedures where she excels in monitoring anesthesia and working with surgical patients. She has a German shepherd/husky mix named Tank, a German shepherd named Ruger, and two cats - Socks and Mittens. The thing she loves most about her job is making a positive difference for every patient and forming relationships with clients and pets. In her free time, Christina is usually outdoors with a camera or spending time with her dogs

    Practice Manager

    Debbie is our incredible leader here at Tabernacle Animal Hospital. Debbie has been a part of the veterinary field for 11 years, having received her certification as a veterinary technician through Penn Foster. Her favorite part of working in the field is meeting new patients and having opportunities to build connections with patients and their families. At home, Debbie can be found hanging with her dog, Zeus, and her two cats, Miss Pepper Pots and Fiona. Her favorite animal is a turtle. Debbie is a self proclaimed professional pickle ball player and a Phillies fanatic!

    Veterinary Technician

    Jersey native and farm enthusiast - meet our technician Morgan! Morgan has been a part of the veterinary field for 12 years! She enjoys getting to be a part of the Tabernacle Animal Hospital family and providing the best care we can to all our patients. At home, Morgan has two horses named Maverick and Possum, two pitbulls named Roxy and Cinch, and a bengal cat named Denver. Her favorite animals - horses and dogs of course! On her days off, Morgan spends her time working on her family farm and participates in various rodeos riding her horse Maverick in barrel races.

    Veterinary Technician

    Julia has been a part of the veterinary field for 6 years, throughout which she has worked as a technician and as a volunteer in shelters. Julia has worked in the field in both New Jersey and Texas and loves to advocate for animals. She currently volunteers at Gloucester County Animal Shelter helping dogs find their forever homes. She loves sharing pictures and videos of all the fur babies who need homes! The best part of the field to Julia is getting to give cute little puppies kisses right on the lips and doing a satisfying nail trim on cats and dogs. At home, Julia has an 8 year old pitbull named Mina.

    Veterinary Technician

    Having been in the veterinary field since 1997, Lisa shines as a surgery technician here at Tabernacle Animal Hospital. She received her BS in Biology and Zoology from Rowan University and continued into the veterinary field where she loves to continue to learn with the always change world of animal medicine. According to Lisa, there are simply too many animals for her to pick a favorite! She has a pitbull named Chester and 4 cats named Lulu, Jo, Bakin', and her special lil handicap kitty, Tate. In her free time, When she's not at Tabernacle Animal Hospital, Lisa can be found baking the most amazing cakes and working with a veterinary ophthalmologist. Lisa enjoys saving countless animal lives through Animal Lifeline Inc., a rescue with which she helps run. She has loved the friendships and bonds she has made with clients and patients over the years.

    Veterinary Technician

    Olivia began working in the veterinary field in 2021 and has loved every moment since. Olivia received her BA in Animal Studies with a minor in Marine Science from Eckerd College in 2022, during which time she had the opportunity to be a part of the Frick Animal Behavior Lab studying bottlenose dolphins, Amazon River Dolphins, and perceptions of big cats in managed care. Olivia has a passion for understanding animal health and care, having worked with a variety of species from small reptiles, pocket pets, birds and even a bear one time! Olivia plans to attend veterinary school and continue in the field as a doctor in the future. At home, Olivia has two rabbies named Monty and Albus, and a Havanese named Guinness. A fun fact about Olivia - she is a certified open water scuba diver!

    Client Service Representative

    The first friendly face you seen in our hospital, Gerry is our wonderful client service representative who has been in the veterinary field since 1986! Gerry belongs to the New Jersey Pine Barren Golden Retriever Club, the Lake Audrey HRC, and the Navasink River Hunting Retriever Club. At home, Gerry has 3 golden retrievers named Turnup, Berry, and Jilly, as well as 2 horses named Remi and Blitz. Gerry loves all animals of all shapes and sizes. Getting to greet patients and clients when they walk in is one of Gerry's favorite parts of the job. When asked about Tabernacle Animal Hospital, Gerry said, 'I love being part of such a wonderful, caring practice. It is truly a family atmosphere...'

    Veterinary Technician

    Beth joined the veterinary field in 2013 as a client service representative and is now a part of our team of technicians here at Tabernacle Animal Hospital! Fun facts about Beth - she is an avid history reader and surfer of 20+ years. We consider her a human jukebox in the office as you'll usually see her singing along to every song on the radio. She loves being at the beach, going to concerts, tending to her numerous plants, and hanging with her animals - her two dogs, Bucky and Gunne, and her two cats, Harald and Reuben. Beth's favorite animal is a shark! At Tabernacle Animal Hospital, she loves taking care of our clinic cat, Elmer, and working with our senior patients.

    Client Service Representative

    Marlana has been in the veterinary field since 2019. Marlana began working at Tabernacle Animal Hospital as a client service representative and transitioned to working remotely on weekends about 1.5 years ago. On weekdays, Marlana utilizes her bachelors degree from Penn State as a Forensic DNA technician for Armed Forces DNA Identification library at the Dover Air Force base. She has two cats at home and loves elephants! In her spare time, Marlana can be found hiking or camping in different state and national parks on the east coast!

    Client Service Representative

    Stacy joined the veterinary field in 2020, receiving her certification as a veterinary technician and working with a variety of species. Stacy worked with exotics and wildlife for 5 years and as a surgery technician for 18 years where she monitored all types of procedures from dentistry and soft tissue to orthopedic surgeries! Stacy loves sea turtles, and at home she has quite a family of animals. She shares her home with 6 chickens named Josephine, Betty, Nina, Sprout, and Thing 1 and Thing 2, a Columbian Redtail Boa named Shorty, 2 Ball Pythons named Noodle and Skittles, a Bearded Dragon named Princess Buttercup, and a gecko. In the office, Stacy loves spending time with our clinic cat, Elmer, and finding toys for him to play with.

    Clinic Cat

    Meet Elmer, our resident clinic cat, professional lap warmer, snack connoisser, water tester, and counter monitor. Elmer came to our clinic through New Pawsibilities in 2022 and quickly stole the hearts of everyone in the hospital. During the day, Elmer loves to sprawl across the counter and watch as technicians and doctors chart their notes and patients walk through the hospital. He loves chin scratches, fresh water, and any and all treats. Elmer hardly meets a person he doesn't like as he patrols the office for new friends to give him snacks.
